The City of Coquitlam is planning an entire day of events and food at 1290 Pinetree Way near Town Centre Park. The Lafarge Lake Canada Day festivities begin at noon.
Trilojay’s upbeat cover band will perform on TD Performance Stage at 8:15 p.m. Fireworks over Lafarge Lake will follow at 10:00 p.m. The event will be secured. Beer Camp Co. will sell beer and Coquitlam’s Mariner Beer under an open site liquor licence. SkyTrain will also allow you to travel to Lafarge lake-Douglas.
Lafarge Lake also offers other activities:
Sky Train to Douglas Station, which departs from Lafarge Lake, can be dropped off and picked up at Parking Lot A. A free bike valet is also available. For Lafarge Lake Canada Day, food trucks will be available at Town Center Park from noon to 10:30 p.m. and fireworks will begin at 10:00 p.m.
