There are still a few months to go until the latest iPhones come out – the iPhone 14 and the Apple iPhone 14 Pro.
You might have noticed there is no Mini on that list. Apple has confirmed they are dropping the 5.4-inch Mini model, as the public simply didn’t buy into the model as much as expected.
But when does the new iPhone come out? Well, the historically tight-lipped Apple hasn’t yet revealed the exact date. But the overwhelming pattern of iPhone launches suggests the announcement will be in early September.
90% of launches have been within 10 days of the announcement, too.
So, tentatively, you could say any day from the 7th to 15th of September as an iPhone 14 release date prediction.
The new iPhones announcement in 2020 was delayed until October by the pandemic, so the iPhone 12 ended up launching in October 2020.
However, the latest iPhone 2022 will likely revert to the old September schedule – as it was with the iPhone 13 in 2021.

Size and Look
Leaks the community has seen so far suggest that the iPhone 14 will have four models. Two 6.1-inch options, the Apple iPhone 14 Pro and one standard.
Then you’ll have the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max and the standard Max – both in 6.7.
So, that’s two 6.7 inch and two 6.1-inch models. If you’re interested in a potential Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max Price – you’re probably looking at $1199 USD.
That’s about $100 more than the equivalent iPhone 13 model. But with the global economy being as it is, a price rise wasn’t unexpected.

iPhone 14 Design
All the rumours and leaks so far suggest that there won’t be much change in the overall body shape of the new iPhones, except some new colours.
The international investment bank JPMorgan Chase reportedly accidentally published some details of the new Apple iPhone range in one of their investor reports.
Before being taken down, Apple fans managed to find out that (potentially) the future iPhone 14 could use a titanium case! That would be a first for the range.
Inside the Apple iPhone new range, only the Pro models will come with an improved processing chip. The Pro phones will have an upgraded A16 chip, compared to the A15 in the standard models – the same as last year’s pro.
Camera
The biggest rumours so far suggest that the Apple new iPhone range will have some big improvements to the camera.
The Pro models, and possibly the standard, will have a 48-megapixel camera. That marks a big improvement for the new Apple phones range, with the previous iPhone 13 Pro only having a 12 Megapixel camera!
The Pro models will also feature 8K recording and an ultrawide camera mode. There should also be new improvements on the software end too, such as an improved autofocus for stabilizing video calls.
