Lin Brehmer is a Chicago radio host and disc jockey for WXRT. He was born August 19, 1954. Brehmer hosts the WXRT morning program since 1991.

Brehmer began a radio career in January 1977. Lin started his career as a disc jockey at WQBK FM in Albany, New York. There he earned the nickname “The Reverend Rock and Roll”. Brehmer died on January 22, 2023. WXRT will air a tribute on Monday at 10 AM.

Sara Farr was Lin Brehmer’s wife. Lin met Sara at Colgate University and they later got Married. According to sources, Brehmer announced on the radio on July 12, 2022 that he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer and planned to take a break. Lin can no longer work at WXRT because he needs to undergo chemotherapy.

He returned to the airwaves for several weeks in 2022, between November and December. On January 22, 2023, Brehmer died.
