Sunil Gavaskar, former Indian opener made a few IPL prediction recently. He believes that Tim David and Cameron Green will be the gamechangers for Mumbai Indians in the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League. The Indian Premier League 2023 is all set to begin from March 31.

Mumbai Indians, after their heart-breaking and forgetful journey of Indian Premier League in 2022, will be looking for a strong comeback this time. In the journey, Tim David and Cameron Green will be big factors for Mumbai Indians, according to Sunil Gavaskar. Green was bought by Mumbai for a whooping price of Rs 17.50 crores ahead of the IPL 2023. He is likely to take over from Kieron Pollard who had been an inevitable part of the team since long.
“Cameron Green is someone who will make a big difference with bat and ball. He might even bat at No. 3 because when he has opened the batting for Australia, he has scored so many runs so quickly,” Gavaskar explained.
When he was further talking about Mumbai’s team composition, he said, “I think it (game-changer) will be Tim David. He is the kind of player who can change the game in a couple of overs,” Gavaskar said on Star Sports.

Mumbai Indians had ensured the services of Jofra Archer ahead of 2022 IPL who could not feature in the edition following injury. However, this time he expected to play. Gavaskar believes that the trio of Green-Archer-David will be crucial for the side.
“The four overseas players will be the big signing Cameron Green, another big signing in Jofra Archer. Tim David, three. And then depending on the form of opposition, either Tristan Stubbs or Dewald Brevis,” Gavaskar concluded.As per the cricket news reports, Mumbai Indians will miss their leading pacer Jasprit Bumrah this time. Speaking of the same, Gavaskar insisted, “They have to forget what happened last season and got to believe that they have the team to do it again. They will miss Jasprit Bumrah. But they have got a team that can win the championship once again. I see them in the top three definitely, because they have a point to prove after last year’s performance.”
