The Oregon Lottery is about to offer Money awards as incentive to become vaccinated from COVID-19.
Gov. Kate Brown made the announcement During a media conference on Friday together with the Oregon Lottery and the Oregon Health Authority.
A source said the statewide prize would Be likely be around $1 million and winners could be selected randomly. It is uncertain how often that decoration would be provided.
All Oregonians who have obtained at Least one dose of this vaccine will be eligible to win awards.
The campaign is funded with $1.86 million in the national Coronavirus Relief Act.
The random drawing will happen on June 28, with names declared the following week. Everyone vaccinated through June 27 will be qualified to win.
