Pamela “Pam” Gibbons Wright will always remain dearly loved to those she knew as she passed away at 60 after suffering an extended illness in Murray, Utah on April 25, 2012. Born July 17 1964 to Everett George and Ludeen Goodfellow Gibbons of Salt Lake City and Bountiful respectively; attended Viewmont High School during early years; left an indelible mark upon all who met her throughout life and created memories that will endure as memories indelibly part of who she was; personal as well as professional experiences will continue being part of who she will remain.

Pam’s life was marked by significant milestones, including two marriages. She first married Lynn Allen in 1968, and the couple later divorced. In 1976, she married Donald Wright, with whom she also eventually parted ways. Despite the challenges, Pam remained a resilient and strong-willed individual. Her journey took her through various phases of life, each characterized by its unique experiences and learning.

How Did She Contribute to Her Community?

Pam’s life in and around Salt Lake City was full of activities that reflected her diverse interests. Who Survives Her and Keeps Her Memory Alive?

Pam’s legacy lives on through her loving family. She is survived by her mother, her two sons, Keith Allen of West Valley City and Clint of Draper, and her two daughters, Sandra Wilson and Crystal Allen of Salt Lake. Her ten grandchildren, who she adored, also survive her. Pam’s siblings, Ralph, David, Dean, Dan Gibbons, Mrs. Sharon Carroll, and Mrs. Shauna Knighton, continue to remember her fondly. Her father and one sister predeceased her. The family’s memories and shared experiences with Pam keep her spirit alive in their hearts.

As part of Pam’s memorial services, a graveside service was held Monday, April 30, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Bountiful City Cemetery at 2224 South 200 West in honor of her life and love of laughter – but also an occasion for friends and family members alike to gather to remember, share stories and remember all she meant in their lives.
