Guard the floor surfaces.
Repairing your walls while also causing damage to your floors is the last thing you want to do. The use of inexpensive drop sheets to shield your floors from splatter is an excellent investment. Depending on how steady your hand is, you might also want to use painters tape pato tape around the bottom of the skirting and anywhere else you want to get a clean line. This would apply both to the bottom of the skirting and anywhere else.
Training or protective coating
When painting directly onto freshly installed plasterboard, you will need to apply a primer coat first. A brick wall is an example of another porous surface that should have a prep coat applied to it before painting.

You might not be able to hold enough paint on your brush if it is too stiff if the paint you are using is runny, such as highly vibrant colours or paints with a low volatile organic compound content.
After that, proceed to move methodically around the room, painting all of the wall edges as you go. The width of your cutting only needs to be between 5 and 10 centimetres. Be sure to also paint the areas around any light switches or power points, as well as the window frames and any other areas of the wall that are too small for a roller. Rolling
