Compared to last year, the company could only sell 10,532 units during the same period. This clearly shows the growth of 33 percent on a Year-on-Year (Y-o-Y) basis.

The compact SUV offers two powertrain options; a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The former can produce 113 bhp of power output with 144 Nm of torque while the latter can generate the output of 114 bhp and 250 Nm torque. Both power plants come mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard. For the automatic option, the petrol model offers a CVT while the diesel provides a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Prices for the Hyundai Creta start from Rs 10.87 lakh (ex-showroom) and go up to Rs 19.20 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.

Hyundai Venue

An affordable alternative to the big Creta, Hyundai Venue secured a second position in the list of best-selling Hyundai cars. In March 2023, the subcompact SUV gained a total sales number of 10,024 units. Seeing this sales figure, the car brand managed to mark a growth of 9 percent with over 9,220 units being sold in March 2023. Moreover, the Hyundai Venue N Line which is a sporty and performance-focused version of the popular small SUV could also be the reason behind the growth of the model for the company.

Hyundai provides multiple powertrain options with the Venue. First is a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol motor paired with a 5-speed manual transmission that can generate power output of 81 bhp and 114 Nm torque. Hyundai i20

In March 2023, the Hyundai i20 marked total sales of 6,596 units while last year it could only manage 4,693 units. This indicates a direct sales growth of 41 percent on a yearly basis. The high-performance version, i20 N Line is also the reason behind the increase in sales numbers.

The i20 is available with two powertrain options. It includes a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that can make 82 bhp of power and 115 Nm of peak torque. Its 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine delivers a power output of 118 bhp with 172 Nm torque. Hyundai Aura

The Aura has been a steady seller from Hyundai Motor India. There is not a major difference in sales growth when compared to last year. The car is basically more popular in fleet car segments. In March 2023, the company sold 3,774 units while last year during the same period, it could only manage 3,775 units.

In terms of performance, Hyundai Aura comes equipped with a 1.2-litre petrol engine that can generate 82 bhp of power and 114 Nm of torque, mated with a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT transmission. The car also has a CNG version that delivers 68 bhp and 95 Nm torque. The CNG trim uses a 5-speed manual as standard while its AMT option is available only in selected variants.

The starting price of the Hyundai Aura stands at Rs 6.33 lakh (ex-showroom) which can go up to Rs 8.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
