Unleashing the Power of the Snapmaker 10W Laser Module: A Game Changer for CNC Enthusiasts

The 10W Laser Module is equipped with the latest laser beam splitters, doubling the power from 5W to 10W. This means that users can now work with an extensive range of materials and take on more challenging projects. The module boasts a work speed of up to 6000 mm/min, cutting through basswoods as thick as 8 mm². This cutting speed is eight times faster than that of the 1.6W Laser Module, allowing users to complete laser jobs with incredible speed.

Thanks to the Fast-axis Collimating (FAC) lenses embedded in the two laser diodes, the 10W Laser Module offers an ultra-fine laser focus of 0.05 mm × 0.2 mm and higher output power. The module combines the laser beams of the two laser diodes using the beam combining technology, resulting in high-quality laser works with impeccable details. The unique wind channel inside the module provides excellent wind pressure, blowing fumes away as the laser beam cuts into the material, reducing interference in laser machining.

No more manual material measuring is required with the 10W Laser Module. The triangulation technique enables the module to measure the thickness of the material by obtaining a few sets of data on the camera and light emitter. It adjusts itself in Z orientation so that the focal point falls right on the material surface, enabling users to finish focusing in seconds. With the upgraded camera capture process, the wide-angle HD camera captures the material and provides an instant preview of the laser job on the material.

The Snapmaker Luban software, tailor-made for the Snapmaker 10W Laser Module, is designed to make a pro out of every beginner. It offers a range of basic and advanced features, from simple image transformation to setting the right parameters for varying materials and slicing 3D models into laser-cut table vectors. Users can hone their skills and master sophisticated tricks with ease.

To ensure user safety, the module includes a gyro sensor, which prevents laser beams from coming out if the module is incorrectly installed or deviates from its designated position. The 10W Laser Module has two separate blowing systems for its PCBA and laser diode, ensuring that the diode is properly cooled off during use. Under proper use, the lifespan of the laser diode can be as long as 8,000–10,000 hours.

Whenever the temperature sensor of the module identifies an operating temperature beyond the normal range (exceeding 55℃/131℉), it will stop functioning automatically. Once the temperature returns to its regular level, you can continue with your work by using the Touchscreen.

The Snapmaker 10W Laser Module is compatible with all models of the Snapmaker 2.0 series, apart from the 150 models. It is also compatible with add-ons, including the Rotary Module, Emergency Stop Button, Air Purifier, and CAN Hub.

The Snapmaker 10W Laser Module is a game-changer for laser cutting or engraving enthusiasts, and better yet it is cost-friendly F350 laser module costs $489, the F250 laser module costs $479, and for other 3D printer models it costs $459. With its cutting-edge features, users can take on more challenging projects, complete laser jobs in record time, and create high-quality works with impeccable details. The 10W laser module truly turns your 3D printer into a powerful 3D laser cutter machine. The software, safety features, and compatibility with add-ons make the 10W Laser Module an excellent investment for anyone looking to take to the next level.
