Three people were killed and five others injured during a deadly clash that took place in Taos County New Mexico on Saturday. New Mexico Police are investigating the case. Red River Motorcycle Rally leaves 3 dead, six injured:
New Mexico’s police chief reacted strongly to the two biker gangs that were responsible for the shooting incident on May 27, 2023. The officer stated that during a press briefing that the two Biker gangs were responsible for the destruction of the annual motorcycle rally.
The local police reported that two gangs had fought over an issue of minor importance, resulting in three deaths and six injuries. The police warned outlaw bikers that they would show zero tolerance to jaywalkers.
Water Dogs Motorcycle Gang
Water Dogs was formed in 2000. Its illegal activities have attracted the police’s attention in recent years. The Water Dogs gang has been in conflict with its rival and some drug offenses have gotten them caught by law enforcement.
Water Dogs Albuquerque members were arrested in 2017 on charges of dealing in firearms and drugs, as well as for stealing cars. This further solidified their reputation as a criminal group. Although the gang is less well-known than other criminal organizations, police consider them to be a threat to civilized societies.
The Red River Shootout brought the Waterdogs Motorcycle Gang to the forefront and linked it with criminal activity and violent tendencies that are harmful to society.
What caused the fight between the two biker gangs?
New Mexico Police apologized for the incident that occurred on Saturday as the crowd gathered to watch the Motorcycle event. According to the media, the shooting began around 5 pm on Main Street east of Red River. The rival gang snapped a photo of itself with another group in Albuquerque, igniting the rival gang.
The fight began with heated words between the rival groups, then running and chasing. This led to a fatal gunshot.
Bandidos Motorcycle Club Member dead and injured:
Bandidos are a well known outlaw motorcycle gang with headquarters in Houston, Texas United States. The gang was founded in early 1960, and there are chapters in 22 countries. The gang, which has 2500 members in 303 chapters lost two men to a shootout on the 27th of May. Anthony Silva, 26 and Damian Breaux 46 are Bandidos from New Mexico who were killed in the shooting.
Matthew Jackson, 39 years old, from Austin, Texas and Christopher Garcia are the two wounded members of a gang arrested for the incident on Saturday.
Water Dogs Motorcycle Club A casualty at the Saturday Shootout:
In the shootout that took place on Saturday evening, there were also casualties for the Water Dogs gang. Jacob Castillo (30), a New Mexico Water Dogs member and a 30-year-old New Mexico man, was arrested by the police chief on suspicion of murder. Castillo sustained injuries in the incident, and was still in hospital on Sunday. Randy Sanchez, 46 of Albuquerque and a member the Water Dogs was also killed.

Mexico Police are working with the FBI and Federal Bureau of Alcohol to investigate the shooting incident on the 27th of May.
