The Journey

9Life began broadcasting in 2015 in urban areas and gained much popularity among its viewers. Due to its greater audience share, it gradually rose to the OzTam ranks. It performed even better than other Nine Network channels like Extra, 9Go, and 9Rush.

9life began its venture in the regional areas after WIN Television, a renowned television network, announced that it would include 9life starting on March 2016.

What Happened to 9life Channel

Nine Network partnered with Southern Cross Austereo on 29 March 2016, a media company that operates radio and TV shows. It also cast out WIN Television to be its primary alliance. 9Life was subsequently canceled from the 1st of July 2016. Southern Cross Austereo was unable to broadcast the channel due to a lack of technical gadgetry.

9Life, although no longer part of WIN was telecast on other regional networks such as Regional Victoria and Regional Queensland. It was also broadcast on NTD, which was a station owned and controlled by Nine Network.

The Comeback

Both will work again together five years after WasThisWhat Happened to 9life Channel and its association with WIN Television. Nine Network announced on 12 March 2021 it would regain affiliation with WIN Television and will continue the odyssey for a minimum period of seven years. 9Life will regain its time on WIN TV’s channel 83 from August 2021 due to an agreement between Sky News and WIN TV.

Conclusion

9Life, a popular channel, has continued to broadcast great shows ever since it was founded. Although What Happened to 9life Channel caused a temporary setback for the channel, its upcoming merger with WIN Television promises to increase its popularity.
