Black Panther 2: Michael B. Jordan Commented On What Chadwick’s Death Means

Chadwick Boseman’s death was a terrible loss for everyone. The death of the actor due to colon cancer made the future of Black Panther in cinemas extremely uncertain, after all, it is impossible to replace the hero created by Boseman. Marvel decided it will not put another actor in the role of T’Challa and also not recreate Boseman through visual effects.

In a recent interview with People, Michael B. Jordan commented on what Chadwick’s death meant and his possible return to the role of Killmonger.

“This is something that is very, very close to my heart, something that is very dear for many obvious reasons. I had a very difficult year losing someone close to me. And what that means for this franchise is devastating. But being in this world in a character that I loved playing, and working with Ryan Coogler and all that good stuff, is family. We raised a family there. So being able to return to that world again is something that, I think, will always be a possibility in some way. ”
