The wildfire that erupted Thursday last week has increased in size and now covers most of Texas State. While firefighters are constantly trying to control the fire, dry weather is allowing the fire to spread.

Bluff Dale can be found in Erath County. According to officials, the fire started in Erath County and spread towards Hood. Marshall Jeff Young stated that the fire is moving at 20 MPH, making it difficult to control.
The wildfire engulfing 11000 acres has been controlled by twenty percent as of the writing of this article. It is currently active. During the rescue operation two firefighters lost their faces.
Bluff Dale Fire , and its Impact:
The fire that began in Erath is now heading towards Hood is, one the most destructive wildfires in Texas. The fire is moving quickly towards Lipan, so officials have asked residents for evacuation.
Kidd fire, which has erupted across Eastland County and now covers 42333 acres, is the other major fire. At the time the article was written, the Kidd fire was still active and forty percent had been contained by firefighters.
Eastland has burned 55000 acres to date, and one of the sheriff’s assistants was killed during the rescue operation.
