FIFA 23 Premier League TOTS Havertz, Rashford, Salah, and Varane PLAYER REVIEW

This article provides an overview of several FIFA22 player cards including Havertz, Rashford, Salah, and Varane. The Havertz card is versatile and can play in various positions, but lacks a 5-star weak foot rating. Rashford’s card is strong, but overpriced and not as good as some other players in central positions. Salah’s card has been upgraded to a 5-star skill move rating and is a top choice for the wing, but may be too expensive for some players. Varane’s card is one of the best CBs in the game with perfect stats, but has a weak foot rating disadvantage and is not particularly strong in the air. Chemistry recommendations are also provided for each card.

Havertz:

This Havertz card is still a decent one, but unfortunately, it didn’t receive the 5-star weak foot rating.    At this stage, it doesn’t have much core competitiveness, but at a cost of around 200,000 coins, it’s still a viable option if you like it.    After all, this is a relatively versatile card that can play in various positions and performs above average in all of them.    The best position for him is probably the left CF in the 4-3-2-1 formation because there aren’t many left-footed players in the game, and Kai Havertz is a solid choice.    Although the official explanation states that there is no difference between a 5-star weak foot and a strong foot in terms of shooting and passing, a player with 5-star weak foot rating will still be automatically judged to use their strong foot for 55-rated body positioning and dribbling.    Therefore, even though there are more players with 5-star weak foot ratings now, left-footed players are still relatively scarce.    Additionally, Havertz is also good as a striker in a two-striker formation.    As for attacking CM or CAM positions, I’m not particularly fond of players who are close to 190cm tall, so I wouldn’t choose him for those positions.    Another advantage of Kai Havertz is that his exclusive model makes him one of the most flexible players around 190cm tall, and he doesn’t feel clumsy with the ball.    His dribbling stats are also quite good, so he’s a card with decent handling.    Moreover, he has skills like finesse shot and outside of the foot shot, and his shooting accuracy is reliable.    Overall, he is not the most competitive card, as his shooting and physicality are not as good as Harry Kane, and his weak foot rating is not as good as Isac, but he is more agile than Kane and has better physicality than Isac.    Therefore, he is still a good choice.    Whether to get him or not depends on personal preference.

Chemistry recommendation: Hunter or Hawk, depending on your playstyle.

Rashford:

This Rashford card is quite strong, and its handling has surpassed the inherent stiffness of the “Rashford” ID.    However, the current price of 7 million coins on the console is really off-putting.    I think his ability is between 93-94-rated Mbappe, not as good as the TOTY turtle, not because Rashford is not strong, but because Mbappe is too strong.    Besides, the cost-effectiveness is too low.    Of course, if you’re a fan of Rashford or his team, you won’t be too disappointed with this card.    Rashford is still very fast even without the chemistry style that boosts pace, and he can easily leave the opponent behind with a single bicycle kick.    He is definitely better than Al-Owairan on the wing (but Al-Owairan is much cheaper).    His handling is slightly inferior to Mbappe, but they are the same height at 186cm, and he is much better than Ginola (probably because Ginola has the HA body type).    His finishing ability is above average, he can score the goals he should score, but he doesn’t have the shooting traits that top players possess.    His physicality is also decent, and he doesn’t often lose in physical battles unless facing tanks like Van Dijk.    Overall, he is one of the top choices for playing on the wing at this stage, but not as good as players like Maradona, Eusebio, Cantona, Mbappe, and Benzema in the central positions.    He is a good card, but overpriced.    However, if you have the coins, it’s still worth trying him out.

Chemistry recommendation: Marksman or Finisher.

Salah:

Although I often say that we should focus on the stats in the early stages and the skill moves in the later stages, Salah is undoubtedly one of the best 3-star skill move players, and he has now been upgraded to 5-star skill moves, making him a card that’s worth playing with.    However, I still wouldn’t buy him at the current price of 2.7 million coins, but if EA gave him to me, I would use him as my starting player without hesitation.    Why do I say Salah is a ceiling player for 3-star skill moves?    Well, his stats are already amazing, plus his exclusive model makes him strong and flexible in physical battles.    Every year when the game starts, Salah is always one of the best cards.    However, in the era of skill moves, he is used less frequently towards the end of the season.    In FIFA 22, the 10-star Salah card that was released towards the end of the season is still in my starting lineup even though I have retired from the game.    This season’s Salah card has been upgraded to 5-star skill moves, which means he has more room to show his skills and can play well on both wings and as the left CF in the 4-3-2-1 formation.    His left-footed shots are at a ceiling level, and his right foot is not particularly weak, possibly due to his special model.    He is also good at passing.    Overall, he is a card with a lot of highlights and strength.

Chemistry recommendation: Hawk.

Varane:

There’s not much to say about this card. He is the second-best CB, only slightly weaker than Van Dijk. On the stats side, he is perfect, and he is faster than Dias. Let me give you some knowledge about balance again: a balance rating of 40+ doesn’t really affect the strength of a central defender in FIFA. Balance in the game is not about physical strength but the speed of recovery after being tackled or stumbled. As long as the model is good and the strength is high, and the player has the “aggressive tackle” trait, the balance rating is not particularly important. Varane is one of the best CBs in the game, and his only disadvantage is his weak foot rating. However, in the CB position, weak foot rating is not as important as it is in the attacking positions, and his passing accuracy is fully sufficient for short passes. His only weakness is that he is not particularly strong in the air. Overall, he is a very good card that’s worth using.

Chemistry recommendation: Shadow or Anchor.

In summary, Havertz is a decent option with versatility, Rashford is strong but overpriced, Salah is a top choice for the wing with upgraded skill moves, and Varane is one of the best CBs in the game.  Keep in mind the chemistry recommendations provided for each card to enhance their abilities on the field.  When it comes to buying FIFA coins, be sure to choose a trustworthy source like buymmog.com to ensure a smooth and secure transaction.
