Gary Levin (a Lyft driver at 74 years old and a Palm Beach Gardens resident) went missing on Monday, 30th January 2023. He provided a ride for an unidentified passenger and dropped him off at the destination in Okeechobee County. Levin was to meet his girlfriend for dinner Monday.
After dropping off the passenger, his cell phone was turned off. He then vanished. Human remains were discovered on Saturday, 4th February 2023.
Matthew Scott Flores is being questioned by the police:
Scott is charged with the murder of Jose Carlos Martinez, Hardee County, on 24 January 2023. Scott was able to flee the police with the assistance of Stephanie Velgara. Scott was subject to an arrest warrant by the police.
Scott was seen driving the 2022 Kia Stinger car that belonged to Levin on Thursday night. This is significant evidence about how Scott obtained the car and what he did before fleeing.
