Lime Wire, a file-sharing site, was shut down due to issues in 2010. Lime Wire, a peer-to–peer file sharing website that was popular back in 2010, was shut down due to some issues.
The shut down was due to copyright violations. A federal judge ruled that this platform caused copyright infringement at a large scale. The company is a big name in the music industry. They have announced that they will be returning to the NFT marketplace. This marketplace will focus on music-related items, just like before.
Limewire Back as a File-sharing company
Lime Wire does not plan to relaunch as a file sharing company. They will instead launch their NFT marketplace which will be focused on digital assets in music. The company used to be primarily concerned with music but now is more focused on the music business.
The company recently announced that the NFT marketplace would go live in May. They have created a waitlist to allow users to sign up for their NFT Marketplace and they want Limewire Download digital assets.

The company is extremely focused on their new business. They have been planning for it for a while. Lime Wire has partnered with many musicians and established companies in the NFT sector.
The company wants NFT to become more accessible. They are not going to list their NFT in cryptocurrency, but they will instead exchange it for the US Dollar. By simply providing their credit card details, users can instantly access the Limewire NFT and exchange NFT for US Dollars.
Conclusion
