Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game – Complete Edition will finally arrive in January

Ubisoft has announced Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game – Complete Edition will finally arrive next January 14.

The Complete Edition, which will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia, will include a remastering of the original game and its DLCs, Chau knives pack, and Wallace Wells.

Developed by Ubisoft Montreal and Ubisoft Chengdu and featuring music by chiptune group Anamanaguchi, the game adapts Bryan Lee O’Malley’s popular comic book (and Edgar Wright’s film) in the form of a 2D beat ’em up with pixel art aesthetics.

It was originally released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in August 2010 and in digital format but was removed from digital stores on both consoles in December 2014. In August 2020 O’Malley himself stated on Twitter that Ubisoft had not contacted him to republish the game, but fortunately, the situation changed weeks later.
