The Most Anticipated Games of 2024

There are an estimated 3.09 billion active game players in the world in 2023. This shows the success of the industry and how far online gaming has grown over the past decade.

Although 2023 has been a thrilling ride in the world of video games, 2024 promises to be much more exciting with many game releases like Star Wars Outlaws and Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth.

Here are the games you should lookout for in 2024.

Star Wars Outlaws

If you have played the Division franchise, you must be familiar with Ubisoft Massive Entertainment. The giant gaming studio is back again with what promises to be the first ever open world Star Wars game. The game has been well anticipated by Star Wars fans across the world.

In Star wars outlaws players will take the role of Kay Vess the game’s main character and their only mission will be to try to successfully complete one of the biggest heists the outer rim will ever see.

The storyline of the Star wars outlaws is centered between the Empire Strikes Back and The Jedi Returns. It is safe to have beautiful visuals and third person gaming combined with stealth elements and the presentation to match.

Live Dealer Online Poker

With metaverse gaming and VR headsets advancements, live Dealer online poker games are something to look out for in 2024.

Casinos are starting to create their own metaverse for more immersive online slot gaming experience. This way players can break the physical barrier and enjoy live deals from the comfort of their homes.

You can expect to play many of your favorite slots at Bally’s casino UK like Red Dog and Mega Joker via VR headsets.

33 Immortals

Here is another game from Roguelikes that is to be released in 2024. If you are familiar with Spelunky and Rise of Rain 2, then you will understand what it feels like to find yourself in an immersive game where you constantly have to keep learning how to crack different puzzles within the game.

33 Immortals promises nothing but fast-paced action, and a one-of-a-kind 33 player cooperative features. What this means is that there will be 33 players fighting for their lives in this game all at the same time. If you want to have a closer look at what 33 immortals entails I will suggest you watch the teaser trailers on YouTube.

All 33 players will have to team up together and run through enemy congested spaces to get to the finish line. It doesn’t get more chaotic and exciting than this.

Black Myth: Wukong

Black Myth is being made by Game Science, a Chinese gaming studio and promises to be one of the most captivating mythological game stories of all time.

Even though there isn’t much information about this game, the good news is it’s been created by a Chinese developer which means we will get to enjoy authentic folklore without the Western modification.

Many game lovers around the world have argued that this is the best looking game they’ve seen in years based on gamescience promotional videos that have been released over the past few years. Its adaptation of Asian fighting choreography means that we can expect exciting third person RPG action.

Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth

Following the events of its 2020 predecessor Remake, Cloud and his friends have escaped from Midgar and must face and defeat the evil Sephiroth in Rebirth.

Final fantasy 7 Rebirth is the second entry in the trilogy Final Fantasy VII Remake by Square Enix.

Players will travel to another world called Gaia which will offer them more ground to cover compared to its predecessor Midgar. It is set to be released early in 2024.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2

During Microsoft Xbox games showcase earlier this year, they had an extensive look into Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 and it promises to be one of Microsoft’s best looking games in their portfolio in 2024.

Asides the impressive visuals, Ninja Theory has done remarkable work on the audio. You can expect immersive audio delivery 5 times better than its predecessor. Hence, you should invest in headphones to enjoy this feature.

Silence of the Siren

Every true gamer remembers how hooked we all were when the classic Heroes of Might and Magic games came along. Sadly, this franchise is only a shadow of itself.

Silence of The Siren looks to be adopting medieval fantasy compared to space fantasy that we are all used to from their studio. While some may argue that maintaining its original space fantasy is important, this switch may be what the genre desperately needs.

Based on its trailers, Silence of The Sirens looks to be what Heroes 3 was and so much more. We are looking at advanced tactical options during game play and world map that smoothly combines 4X and RPG gameplay

Conclusion

As 2023 draws to a close, we are set to experience some of the best visuals, storylines and gameplay to ever exist in 2024. The games listed above are on the top of that list, so brave yourself for non-stop action in 2024.
