When Will ‘The Bridgertons’ Season 2 Premiere?
Although season 2 production was planned earlier, the COVID-19 pandemic flipped any initial plans, and the reorganized schedule was moved to March 2021, according to What’s On Netflix. This suggests that 2022 will be the most sensible date to premiere the second season.
Regarding the plot of the second season, there are still eight books of the saga to adapt in the series. The second season could adapt the second novel, The Viscount Who Loved Me. This book, therefore, changes the main character, who happens to be Anthony, the oldest of the eight Bridgerton brothers. The last time we saw Anthony at the end of the first season was after the final end of his love affair with Siena, the opera singer.
The End Of The First Season
The first season focuses on the romance of Daphne and Simon, the Duke of Hastings, which begins with a fake relationship and culminates with their genuine infatuation and with the female protagonist giving birth to a son.
Although the couple has a happy ending, there are still plenty of ground ends in the history of various characters. Eloise is about to be introduced in society, raising fears for her freedom to be a single, freelance writer. Colin made the decision to travel the world and Anthony decides to give up love and assumes his role as the first-born of the family.
