To be certified as an ASE technician, you must pass four exams: an entry-level test called Test 300, formerly known as Test 200; a segment for technicians with at least two years of experience (300); a segment for technicians with at least three years of experience (400); and the last segment, which is reserved for those who have completed the program in four years (500).
