Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Milestone Quests
Milestones aren’t achieved in a day.
Milestones are the fastest way to reach level 100 in the Battle Pass. They’re often not challenging, but the repetition can grate on anyone’s nerves. Still, Fortnite account holders aren’t meant to complete them in a day but gradually throughout the season.
Here’s a list of what to expect in Chapter 4, Season 2.
Chapter 4 Season 2 Milestone Quests
- Thank the Bus Driver (5)
- Activate Augments (10)
- Complete Daily Quests (20)
- Eliminate Players (25)
- Acquire Accolades (75)
- Search Chests or Ammo Boxes (75)
- Outlast Opponents (750)
- Gain Shields (1000)
- Damage Opponents (4500)
- Travel Distance in Vehicles (5000)
Each has 20 stages, and completing one will reward around 6,000 XP. 6,000 times 20 times 9 equals a ton of Battle Pass XP. That’s calculated to about 30 Battle Pass levels, around one-third of what you need to complete for your Fortnite account.
As mentioned, you don’t have to do them in one go. You’ll slowly get through them as you play games. Doing the Dailies will supplement these, or is it the other way around? At any rate, these quests make finishing the BP much quicker.
They’re primarily self-explanatory and things you’ll achieve while playing a few rounds. Gaining shields, damaging opponents, and searching chests and ammo boxes, are what you usually do during a game. Completing Daily Quests is also another usual thing to do.
The only ones you have to take action to do are the leftover ones, thanking the Bus Driver, acquiring accolades, and activating augments. The latter is somewhat easy to forget, as you might not notice they’re available.
At other times, thanking the Bus Driver was a cosmetic interaction, something you can do but are not required to do. Now, it’s turned relevant again, and you should do it every chance you get. As for accolades, they’re the ‘firsts’ you can achieve during a game. Things like ‘first to land’ or ‘first to pick up a Legendary item.’
Outlasting opponents doesn’t mean ‘winning the game.’ You only need to be one of the last few survivors to count for this milestone. A hundred players can roam the island, but any amount will help you finish faster.
Additional Information
These milestone quests are a one-and-done deal. They’re there from the beginning to the end. They won’t change or reset until the next Battle Pass. If you’ve completed all of them, that’s that. It’s good that they each have 20 stages, or they’d be way easier to achieve.
If you diligently do the dailies every day, you don’t have to complete all 20 stages of these milestone quests. You’d do them nonetheless, making them a good backup in an emergency. They can supplement the BP XP, letting you miss a day or more depending on how many you’ve done.
Milestones do not reward you with anything other than Battle Pass XP. It means that you earn more rewards by leveling it up. However, if you want to complete the BP faster, it is a must to do them.
Take your time. Milestone quests are meant to be done over weeks. Grinding these quests will make things tedious, which makes it easier for you to burn out.
Get Rewards By Completing Fortnite’s Battle Pass
The Battle Pass is one way to get skins from the Fortnite Item Shop without buying them. Of course, there are premium ones for those who pay, but it’s a welcome feature for free players. The game has to earn some revenue, so having premium skins is an acceptable source of profit.
At least, it isn’t anything that will give paying players an unfair advantage against free players. Cosmetics only enhance the player’s avatar’s looks and won’t provide any combat benefits. That’s better than some other games that make it pay-to-win, almost forcing players to pay or get curb-stomped by players who pay.
Back to the Battle Pass, there are hundreds of levels to reach. It will take a long time to finish that if you only do dailies, so don’t miss the opportunities to complete these milestone quests. You’ll finish the BP and get all the rewards without sweating.
