E-Bikes Made For Canada

The use of electronic bikes is on the rise. In fact, market research shows that people in Canada are increasingly taking to e-bikes and this trend is expected to grow. It makes sense too as the pandemic has put people off using crowded public transport but still want to use eco-friendly ways of commuting.

Benefits of using an e-bike?

While you’ll still find traditionalists saying that using an e-bike is ‘cheating’, science tends to disagree. E-bikers have the same activity levels as those who use conventional cycles simply because they tend to do much longer distances on a regular basis.

Cost-savings: As fuel prices skyrocket and electric cars still out of the price range for many, e-bikes offer an affordable (and healthy) way to commute. Depending on the type of e-bike you choose, a full charge can last more than 80 kilometers (50 miles).

Flexibility: They give you the option to exercise as you commute but also give you the flexibility to use pedal assist if you have had a long day at work. So, you put in as much effort while commuting as you want to. Additionally, unlike public transport, you don’t have to wait around at a bus stop or train station.

More Control: Cycling in heavy traffic can be daunting and many e-bike users appreciate the little push they get in these circumstances. The pickup makes it easier stop at intersections and then get back up to speed again.

Encourages biking: There are plenty of health benefits to using an e- bike. Apart from the great cardio workout you get when riding a bicycle, e-bikes are also ideal for older individuals as they reduce the pressure on the legs and knees. Suddenly that one steep incline on your way back from work isn’t so intimidating anymore.

Green Light Cycle Ltd.™

Whether you’re planning on getting an e-bike for environmental reasons, to live a healthier lifestyle or to save money on commuting, you want an e-bike from a company you can trust. The founder of Green Light Cycle Ltd.™ tested his first prototype on the roads himself every day for a whole year fine-tuning the product until it was something he could be proud of.

What drove him to design it? He struggled to find an affordable eco-friendly bike that could meet the quality standards for BC’s hilly terrain.
