The Vikings Season 6 Part 2: Release Date, Cast, Trailer And All Latest News Here!!

After 7 years the series Vikings 100% will finally come to an end, with 6 seasons and 79 episodes, the story of the legendary Ragnar Lothbrok and his sons captivated millions around the world and garnered fans with each new season. Now that the second part of the sixth season has been released and we will soon see the end of the show, the first reviews have appeared and they are quite positive.

At first, the series focused on the adventures of Ragnar ( Travis Fimmel ), a Viking farmer, who sets sail with others to sack England. Later he faces Earl Haraldson ( Gabriel Byrne ) and later manages to become a great king. In the middle of his story we meet other characters as inspiring as Ragnar, in the case of Lagertha, played by Katheryn Winnick, as well as her brother and enemy, Rolo ( Clive Standen ).

After the fourth season, in which we see Ragnar die by the handiwork of King Aelle of Northumbria, his children became protagonists: Bjorn ( Alexander Ludwig ) Ivar ( Alex Høgh Andersen ), Hvitserk ( Marco Ilsø ), and Ubbe ( Jordan Patrick Smith ). Among the most notable aspects of Vikings, we can mention the way in which it faces different religious beliefs, especially the worldview of the Vikings and that of the Christians.

The characters that best reflect the confrontation between the two religions are Athelstan, Floki, and Ragnar himself. Athelstan was a monk who was enslaved by the Vikings and was torn between the Christian faith and the faith in the pagan gods, although before dying he abandoned his pagan faith completely. Floki by his father was a skilled shipbuilder who believed passionately in gods and even had visions. Ragnar tries to understand the Christian religion but in the end, he ends up renouncing all theistic beliefs.

After the fourth season, Vikings have focused on the conflict of the sons of Ragnar, as Ubbe and Bjorn teamed up to face Ivar and Hvitserk, and later they all teamed up against Ivar. According to the first reviews, the ending is epic and everything fans could hope for, so let’s keep our fingers crossed that it’s true and see for ourselves. The final 10 chapters of Vikings are now available on Amazon Prime Video in the United States.

Vikings Season 6, Part 2 had an entire fanbase on its shoulders, and it delivers the final episodes with care, intelligence, and precision. We hope this gives the closure that fans deserve.

If you plan to watch the final 10 episodes in a marathon, just as your attention begins to drift, the twists and turns of the series finale wake you up again. The final 10 episodes may be long and drawn out, but it sure was the epic finale fans could have hoped for and more.

We can never be sure how well a series will pull off the finale, but with ‘Vikings’ at least, the fandom’s faith can rest on a firmer foundation based on the story and demonstrated skill rather than showmanship and whim.

A strong comeback for Vikings, thankfully absent of all the silly nonsense that made last season so unbearable. On the other hand, a conflict was largely prepared that I believe has already worn down its reception.

Alexander does an incredible job of portraying Bjorn’s torment over his decisions and his struggle to try and make the right decision.
