Even though the year was a tough one for the majority of us, 2020 undoubtedly gave a number of the greatest anime recently. We got to see sequels of popular shows like Haikyuu!! The much-awaited next season is likely to strike the screens sometime shortly. Hence, here are all the facts you want to know about the anime’s yield.
Bofuri: I Do Not Want To Be Hurt, So I’ll Max My Defence originated as a light novel series exemplified by Koin and composed by Yuumikan. The LN began serialization as an internet novel back in 2016 on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō novel publishing website. The series was later published as tankōbon volumes after being obtained by Fujimi Shobo. Due to its increasing popularity, the story was subsequently picked up for several adaptations, including a manga series and a tv anime.
Bofuri Season 2: Official Renewal
The Bofuri TV anime series became an immediate hit after its debut back in January 2020. The Studio Silver Link show aired for a total of twelve episodes until March of the exact same year. The series already gained fame while it was publishing. Hence, fans began to demand another run even before its finale’s broadcast. Fortunately, the studio stunned that the viewers with an early renewal at the end of the last episode.
Later on, when requested for an official announcement, Silver Connect eventually confirmed the news. Additionally, Funimation went on to announce the renewal separately. Even though it’s not verified, the studio appears to have picked up the anime’s productions already. Speculations say that the production process could continue in the forthcoming months. Is There Enough Source Material For Another Season?
Unlike other television shows, anime adaptations are primarily dependant on their source material for the storyline. They usually survive only if there’s enough material to accommodate. The Bofuri Itai no wa Iya nano de Bōgyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu light book has been introduced for a total of eleven volumes between 2017 and January 2021. Whereas, the first season of the popular anime just covered the first four volumes containing 127 chapters. Hence, Studio Silver Link still has seven LN volumes abandoned.
Well, given that the light book series is still in the long run, the founders will find more content for future installations as well. As of now, Silver Connect will likely accommodate the subsequent four volumes of this LN collection. Bofuri Season two will begin after the events of Season 1 final episode and will ensure the storyline out of Chapter 128/129. The manga adaptation of Bofuri is yet to catch up with the anime. Moreover, the English version of the LN hasn’t hit the market yet. In accordance with the latest updates, Volume 1’s Language translation is going to likely be released by Yen Press on March 23, 2021.
Bofuri Season 2: Release Date
Ever since Silver Connect confirmed the sequel, fans were waiting for the official release date. Well, as of now, none of the production of this anime have spoken about its premiere. But, speculations state that creation for the next period of Bofuri ” I Don’t Want To Be Hurt, So I Will Max Out My Defence has already begun. The studio will probably require a few more months to complete works on the installation.
