The favorite show ever, “The Curse of Oak Island,” season 8 is finally back and its episode 2 is next. The big premiere happened on November 10 and fans were able to see the sequel after the end of the seventh installment.
The series opened with Rick and Mary Lagina talking about the coronavirus pandemic and its effect on the world. They also mentioned how the filming of season 8 of “The Curse of Oak Island” was affected by the protocols, but they assured that they have returned to normal.
In the premiere episode, the team was shown touring some parts of the island. They also inspected the places where they found notable structures and finds in their previous excavations. In particular, they focused on the properties of Samuel Ball and Daniel McGinnis for another archaeological dig in the area.
On the other hand, Gary Drayton has been using his metal detecting skills on another surface. He found a place with a lot of metals and he is convinced that there is a lot of gold and silver under the earth. He traded in his metal detecting kit for a bigger one called the CTX 3030.
Gary found a boat tackle ax and said it’s very old. Later, he also discovered a coin that he suspected was from the 1700s, judging by the shape of the coin and the square hole in the middle.
Most likely, the climax of “The Curse of Oak Island” season 8 episode 1 was the discovery of gold in the water. Tyler Newton, the diver, found gold but, unfortunately, it slipped through his fingers. He was unable to retrieve it due to the cloudy water and the depth to which it has fallen.
What To Expect Next
More rocks and gravel were transported to the island last weekend, but a lot of equipment was also seen leaving. Coffin materials are also arriving and there is also a bulldozer and a small roller.
But again, the island residents still couldn’t figure out what the cofferdam materials were for, as they didn’t see any work related to the cofferdam elements. His purpose will likely be revealed in episode 2 of season 8 of “The Curse of Oak Island.”
